Job summary

SCA Health is actively hiring for a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to support our ambulatory surgical centers in Mobile, AL. You will function as a scrub person during operative procedures and help prepare rooms and instruments for the next patient, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completed Surgical Technologist training, and OR experience. ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred to join our dedicated team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course.
• Two years operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
