Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking new grads and experienced Surgical Technologists to join our operating room team in Lowell, MA. This full-time night shift role supports the perioperative team, delivers instruments, maintains aseptic technique, and participates in a range of procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have completed a surgical technology training program (military or civilian) or graduated from an accredited Surgical Tech Program.
• 0–12 months of healthcare experience.
• BLS Certification required.
• New grads must obtain credential within 12 months of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Functions as Surgical Technologist in Operating Room across various procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique during setup, draping, and procedures.
• Scrubs on cases and assists with instrument organization and counts.
• Prepares instruments, supplies, and equipment for cases.
• Performs duties under surgeon direction and assists in room turnover.
• Assists with intraoperative medications management as per policy.
• Coordinates with circulating nurse for counts and safety.
