Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. This 32-hour night position supports the patient care team by setting up OR equipment, passing instruments, and assisting surgeons and staff during procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of surgical technologist experience in acute care, and NBSTSA certifications (CSFA/CST) preferred. Eligible for sign-on and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CSFA (NBSTSA) and CST (NBSTSA) preferred for certification roles.
• Experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting is required (2–3 years) and leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up equipment independently for procedures.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assistants.
• Maintains sterile processing standards and room readiness.
• Assists as an active member of the Patient Care Team.
• Monitors OR conditions and patient needs during surgery.
