• Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technologist CAAHEP or ABHES Program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from an accredited program preferred
• NBSTA or NCCT, but not required
• Experience: Less than 1 year as Surgical Technologist

Baptist Health is looking for an experienced Surgical Technologist to support our Labor and Delivery team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a PRN days position with various shifts.

A surgical technologist in this role will work as part of the Labor and Delivery team. The individual will assist the surgical team during surgeries, ensure a sterile environment, hand instruments to surgeons during procedures, and maintain patient safety. Between surgeries, the individual will clean and restock the operating room. Throughout the day, precision, attention to detail, and teamwork are paramount in providing quality patient care.

Your responsibilities and qualifications will include:

Experience Requirements: Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Associate Degree or Equivalent
• Experience Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

This Surgical Technologist, Labor and Delivery position will be located at Baptist Medical Center Beaches.
