Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services Team at Baptist Medical Center Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This PRN position supports multiple shifts and requires dedication to sterile technique and patient safety.

Responsibilities include assembling, organizing, and maintaining a sterile field; anticipating the surgeon's needs; handling specimens; collaborating with the team to minimize anesthesia time; and participating in required call rotations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred, but not required.

Experience Requirements:

• Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred, but not required.
