Job summary

South College is seeking a qualified Full-Time Faculty member in Surgical Technology to deliver didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction to students in Knoxville. This role supports student learning and skill development across day courses on campus and at affiliated clinical sites.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, is credentialed through a national certification in surgical technology, and has teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology education program.
• National certification in Surgical Technology (NCTA) required.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction in Surgical Technology.
• Deliver high-quality teaching that supports student learning and skill development.
• Conduct courses on campus during the day and at designated clinical sites in the Marietta area.
• Guide and mentor students in both academic and clinical settings to ensure program success.
