Job summary

MAXMED HEALTHCARE INC seeks a Surgical Technician (Surgical Technologist) to support DHA at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The selected candidate will perform sterile techniques, prepare and drape patients, and assist with various surgeries across multiple specialties.

Requirements include a Surgical Technology certificate (CAAHEP/ABHES) or equivalent military program, BLS, CST/TS-C or TS-C certifications, and at least three years of OR scrub experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• Certificate or military training in surgical technology from NBSTSA/ABHES accepted.
• BLS certification and CST/TS-C certification required; MOS acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile techniques, set up trays, drape patients, and assist with post-operative dressings.
• Prepare and restock supplies; ensure sterilization of surgical packs.
• Maintain clean OR environments and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Scrub and circulate across multiple specialties as required.
• Transport patients, specimens, and blood products.
• Prepare instrumentation and arrange sterilization methods.
