Job summary

SriMatrix health seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii. The role requires scrubbing a wide variety of procedures in a fast-paced operating room and coordinating closely with the OR team.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in an hospital OR, Active Hawaii credential/license if required, current BLS, and a strong knowledge of sterile technique and instrumentation. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital operating room setting.
• Active Hawaii Surgical Technologist credential/license if required by state regulations prior to assignment start.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to independently scrub multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
• Independently scrub and assist during a variety of surgical cases.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instrumentation and supplies.
• Assist with OR turnover and cleaning between cases.
• Transport patients when necessary.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and staff for safe patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
