Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health’s Moorestown Surgery Center seeks a qualified Surgical Technologist to join its operating room team. Under supervision of the RN or physician, you will assist in general, orthopedic, GI, gynecologic, vascular and minimally invasive procedures, supporting pre- and post-operative care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, NBSTSA or equivalent credential, 1 year of experience preferred, per diem availability, and 15 hours of annual

Short Description

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

Overview

The Cooper Surgery Center at Moorestown is a modern outpatient facility with six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and an interventional radiology suite. Patients receive seamless care from pre-operative assessment through recovery, supported by a skilled surgical team and advanced technology. Specialties include general, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, vascular, and other minimally invasive procedures designed for faster recovery and greater comfort. Care goals are designed to reduce pain, limit complications, and help patients return to normal activity sooner.

Experience Required

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred

Education Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists

License/Certification Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing, etc.)
