Qualifications

• Accredited Surgical Technologist program completed.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred; NBSTSA credential expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, transport, position and drape patients for surgery.
• Receive and process specimens for lab delivery.
• Prepare operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensure working order of equipment and instruments; pass instruments to physician.
• Account for instruments and supplies during surgery.
