Job summary

The Surgical Technologist II - Orthopedic Surgery role at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME, ensures all necessary elements are in place for surgical procedures, maintains sterile technique, and supports the surgical team before, during, and after operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within three months of start date or at discretion of Director for positions at MMC.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of experience required; demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Surgical Technologist I role.

Responsibilities
