GBMC HealthCare seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team in Towson. The role involves preparing sterile environments, passing instruments, and assisting surgeons across routine to complex procedures.

You will uphold aseptic technique and collaborate with nurses, anesthesia, and staff to ensure patient safety. Ideal candidates will have completed a CAAHP accredited ORT program and hold NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

Formación

• Successful completion of a CAAHP accredited training program for Operating Room Technicians.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certified as a Surgical Technologist.
• New graduates are accepted; prior experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares operating room by selecting and opening sterile supplies.
• Passes instruments and assists surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
• Checks and distributes fluids and drugs on the sterile field; supports turnover and case cart assembly.
• Assists in transporting patients and site turnover to support efficient OR scheduling.
