Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Surgical Technology program or AS or equivalent.
• Eligible for certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists.
• At least one year of OR experience preferred in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare and organize sterile instruments and supplies.
• Participate in development and implementation of educational programs for the surgical technology team.
• Demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development in patient care as applicable.
• Communicate openly with team and maintain a safe work environment.
