Job summary

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of Surgical Technologist experience in an operating room or certification through an accredited body is required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire is required.
• Hold current national certification through appropriate accreditation body as required by the state services are rendered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intraoperative care and prepare the surgical suite.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during procedures.
• Maintain sterile setup and pass items as needed during surgery.
• Move patients and assist in preparation of the surgical area.
• Participate in ongoing education and complete assigned goals.
