Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certification required within one year from graduation, or equivalent military/public health service training.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.
• BSLS certification required.
• 4 years’ experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment.
• Assist with peri-operative patient care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to ensure efficient OR function.
