Dartmouth Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the Main OR in Lebanon, NH. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a $15,000 sign-on for external hires.

The position supports the surgical team in scrubbing and may assist in circulating duties within the surgical suite. Core benefits are provided starting on day one, including a comprehensive selection of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options along with disability, PTO, and retirement

Formación

• Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or program accepted by the Association of Surgical Technologists.
• BLS at hire
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• NH Medical Technician OR Tmp Medical Technician

Responsabilidades

• Maintains aseptic technique while providing a quiet environment in the OR suite, respecting the dignity and privacy of the patient.
• Shares in OR suite preparation. Uses and maintains specialized equipment and supplies used for specific surgical procedures.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon to expedite the procedure.
• Utilizes surgical instruments and knowledge of the step-by-step sequences for surgical procedures.
• Assumes shared responsibility for proper handling of surgical specimens.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
