St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL, seeks a Surgical Technician to assist the intraoperative team, prepare and monitor equipment, maintain the sterile field, and support patient positioning during complex procedures.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, an Associate degree in surgical technology is preferred, and candidates must have completed an accredited surgical technology program or military training. BLS is required.
Pay Range: $25.53 - $38.29 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Assists surgical team members in providing intraoperative care to the perioperative patient by preparing and monitoring equipment, passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, assisting with patient transfer/positioning and performing a variety of surgical skills and procedures.
