Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred; NBSTSA certification by hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
• Extensive experience in open heart, neurosurgery, or orthopedics; robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments and advanced equipment for safe, seamless procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Scrub in and provide instruments, handle specimens, and anticipate team needs.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Extensive experience in open heart, neurosurgery, or orthopedics required. Robotics preferred.
