Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technology program or certification.
• Direct patient care experience in an operating room preferred.
• Ability to scrub surgical procedures and work in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical area and anticipate team needs.
• Maintain aseptic technique and handle equipment and implants.
• Assist with patient care under RN direction.
• Scrub for procedures and support the surgical team.
• Participate in unit meetings and perioperative initiatives.
