Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technology professional to join the operating room team at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. You will support aseptic techniques, prepare the sterile field, and assist surgeons with instrument handling during procedures.

The position requires completion of a Surgical Technology program, BLS certification within six months if required, and the ability to work a 40-hour week with rotating shifts. Relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved Surgical Technology program.
• No experience required for the role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean, safe operating environment and assist with aseptic techniques.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Prepare and drape the surgical area and manage instrumentation as needed.
• Transport equipment and patients as required during procedures.
