Job summary

Norman Regional Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services team. The role involves maintaining a sterile environment, preparing for procedures, and assisting physicians across GYN, robotic, ENT and urology cases in our HealthPlex tower.

The position supports orientation and ongoing professional development, with day shifts and regular full-time status. Oklahoma LPN or CST certification may apply where relevant, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program or 5 years of surgical tech/LPN experience.
• National Certification in Surgical Technology highly preferred.

Compensation / Benefits

• $21.99-$35.93/hr. depending on previous work experience.
• Evening differential $2.00/hr.
• Night differential $2.50/hr.
• Weekend differential$2.50/hr.

We have 3 operating rooms for GYN, robotic, ENT, and urology cases located in the HealthPlex tower at Norman Regional Hospital. Our nurses demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, autonomy, and critical thinking skills while caring for a wide range of patient types. We orient new nurses to each of our surgical areas, spending time with dedicated preceptors in each area. Upon completion of orientation, nurses will be able to circulate GYN, robotic, ENT, and urology cases as well as a wide variety of other service lines. Qualifications

Education

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program, achieved national certification in surgical technology, or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.

Experience

• Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program, or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
• National Certification is highly preferred.

Licensure / Certification

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
• If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification.
• Currently Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.
