Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO is seeking Surgical Technologists to join our operating rooms team. This role supports sterility, patient safety and assists surgeons under RN supervision.

Full-time position with 40 hours/week, on-call, weekends and holidays required. Opportunities for advancement to Tech II or Tech III. Eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Completion of an accredited ORT program or equivalent.
• Colorado Surgical Technologists must be registered to practice.
• Ability to take assigned call and work variable shifts.
• Experience in hospital or military surgical services is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and ensure all surgical items meet sterilization criteria.
• Prepare room and instruments for procedures and assist as needed.
• Support surgical staff during procedures within scope of practice.
• Clean room and prep for next procedure after completion.
• Identify emergencies and respond per safety protocols.
