Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of OR experience to join our Float Team. The role offers a flexible schedule with PRN four shifts per month or full-time three shifts per week, including weekends.

You will float between campuses, support the operating room team, assemble sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs, and ensure patient safety. Graduation from an accredited CST program (CAAHEP/ABHES) and an Associates degree are required, along

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technologist CAAHEP or ABHES Program
• Associates Degree Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

• Assemble, organize, and maintain a sterile field for operative procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and the progression of the case and prepare accordingly.
• Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
• Work with the entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety.
