Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the Float Team. This full-time role requires working three 10-hour shifts per week, including weekends, with no on-call, across Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville and other campuses.

You will assist in sterile field setup, anticipate the surgeon's needs, manage specimens and instruments, and support the surgical team to minimize anesthesia time while ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Background screening required for level II (FDLE and FBI) as a condition of employment.

• Assemble, organize, and maintain a sterile field for operative procedures.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs and the progression of the case and prepare accordingly.
• Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.

Baptist Health is looking for a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience to join our Float Team.

As a member of the Float Team, you will have the opportunity to work Full-time, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate your lifestyle. A full-time candidate is required to work three shifts per week, weekends included for both. All shifts are 10-hour shifts and there is no on-call required.
