Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certification must be completed within one year of employment.
• Maintain certification throughout employment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and residents by selecting and passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures.
• Identify breaches in aseptic technique and help resolve them.
• Reprocess decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization, and documentation.
