Job summary

Qualifications include an Associate Degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology, with CST/TS-C or NCCT certification and BLS/CPR as required or preferred. This is a full-time day shift role in Bakersfield, CA.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or certificate in Surgical Technology is required.
• Relevant acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies surgery to be performed with consent forms and brings patient to the operating room.
• Passes instruments to the surgeon during the procedure and anticipates needs.
• Performs counts with circulator and prepares sterile dressings and dressings after incision closure.
• Prepares sterile table and assists in room turnover.
