Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completed Surgical Technology Program from Accredited School/ Program.
• NBSTSA certified.
• 2-4 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift (up to 25lbs) and pushing of instrument carts.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Certification/Licensure.
• Certified Surgical Technologist-required.
• Current BLS - required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during procedures by passing instruments and holding retractors.
• Drape patient and maintain sterile technique.
• Ensure timely setup and turnover of cases within appropriate time frame.
