Job summary

South Tulsa Surgery Center is seeking a certified surgical technologist to support patient care in a busy ambulatory setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, sterile technique, and teamwork to ensure efficient procedures.

Position offers a balanced work schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401k. Prior OR experience preferred; ACLS certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist training program.
• Current Surgical Technology certification.
• Membership in surgical specialty society encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and ensure equipment is disinfected and ready for the procedure.
• Assist surgeon and staff by passing sterile instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout procedures and report any breaks.
• Isolate contaminated instruments to minimize infection spread.
• Receive specimens and prepare for laboratory analysis as needed.
• Restock and clean the operating room after each procedure.
• Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and support nursing leadership.
