Qualifications

• TS – Trade School Graduate – Surgical Technologist (Required)
• Certification/licensure: CST or TS-C; BLS required
• Virginia surgical technologist license required

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room with instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Apply dressings and secure surgical drapes; transfer patients to recovery.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent contamination.
