Sentara Martha Jefferson is seeking a Flexi/PRN Certified Surgical Technologist for day shift at the Outpatient Surgery Center in Charlottesville, VA. The role involves preparing the OR with instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team throughout procedures.

Candidates should be licensed Surgical Technologists in Virginia with CST or TS-C certification and BLS. Experience in the OR is preferred; program students may be considered for this role, with benefits

Qualifications

• Licensed Surgical Technologist – Virginia (Required).
• CST or TS-C certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• TS – Trade School Graduate – Surgical Technologist (Required); students in progress may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and equipment.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining the sterile field.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control during procedures.
• Transfer patients to recovery and apply dressings after surgery.
