Job summary

HSHS Hospital Sisters Health System in O'Fallon, IL, is seeking a Surgical Technologist for St. Elizabeth Hospital to support the perioperative team.

You will prepare and monitor equipment, pass instruments, maintain a sterile field, assist with patient transfer and positioning, and perform a variety of intraoperative skills and procedures. This is a full-time, day-shift role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in surgical technology preferred.
• Graduate from a recognized surgical technology program or military training in surgical technology required.
• DD214 documentation may establish education for military trained candidates.
• Illinois: HS diploma/GED plus 3 years surgical technologist experience may be considered.

• Assist surgical team in providing intraoperative care.
