Live Well Homecare is seeking a Surgical Technologist to aid surgeons across all ages in a clinical setting. You will support aseptic technique, instrument setup, and specimen handling while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities include maintaining universal precautions, participating in surgical briefings, managing admissions and post-operative care, and contributing to on-call rotations and student preceptorship as part

Formación

• Current CST certification or eligible under state law.
• Graduate from a specialty training program.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, follow policies, and perform under pressure.

• Verify surgical site, maintain counts, and manage specimens.
• Maintain universal precautions and participate in surgical briefings.

• Participate in quality control, on-call rotations, and act as a preceptor for students.
• Perform additional duties such as specimen collection, patient transport, and post-mortem care.

Role:

Surgical Technologist, assisting surgeons during procedures across all patient ages in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with surgical procedures, including aseptic techniques, instrument setup, and specimen handling.
• Coordinate treatments with multidisciplinary teams and ensure proper patient assistance.
• Verify surgical site, maintain accurate supply and instrument counts, and manage specimens.
• Maintain universal precautions, participate in surgical briefings, and initiate emergency protocols.
• Support patient admission, discharge, and post-operative dressing changes.
• Participate in quality control, billing, on-call rotations, and act as a preceptor for students.
• Perform additional duties such as specimen collection, patient transport, and post-mortem care.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible under state law.
• Graduate from a specialty training program.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, follow policies, and perform under pressure.
