Job summary

You will handle aseptic technique, instrument setup, specimen handling, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining safety protocols. The role includes on-call rotations, on-site shifts, and involvement in patient admission and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification or eligibility under state law.
• Graduate from a specialty training program.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, follow policies, and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures and aseptic technique; set up instruments.
• Coordinate treatments with multidisciplinary teams and assist patients.
• Verify surgical site, maintain counts, and manage specimens.
• Maintain universal precautions and participate in briefings; initiate emergency protocols.
• Support patient admission, discharge, and post-operative dressing changes.
