Chestnut Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologistto join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support both urology and ophthalmology surgeries, uphold the highest standards of sterile technique and surgical safety.
Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Assist surgeons and nurses during urology and ophthalmology procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique.
Perform sterile processing duties, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments.
Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
Sterile Processing experience preferred.
Previous ASC or hospital operating room experience in urology and/or ophthalmology desired.
Strong understanding of sterile technique and instrument care.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
