Job summary

Sanford Health in Eau Claire is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join Marsh Med Ctr Eau Claire. You will assist with planning, preparing, and supporting invasive and non-invasive procedures, ensuring the operating room remains sterile and patient safety is maximized.

Under the supervision of a surgeon, you will maintain instrument readiness, verify item counts, prepare the environment, and support safety measures and documentation in line with established standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Post-secondary training with knowledge of anatomy, physiology and surgical terminology.
• National certification as Surgical Technologist preferred.
• LPN license with state board and/or multicounty licensure may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation, and support of surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure supplies are ready for use.
• Verify instrument counts and contribute to patient safety during procedures.
• Support safety measures and documentation in accordance with standards.
