Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a day shift. You will assist in perioperative care, prepare the sterile field, and support the surgeon during procedures in a fast-paced operating room.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing as an LPN is required.
• Experience in an operating room is preferred with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, terminology, instrumentation and aseptic techniques.
• National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
• LPN license with state board or multi‑state licensure privileges if applicable.
• BLS is required within 60 days of employment.
• Completes CEUs and competency training as required by the department.
• If in North Dakota and not an LPN, must be on the UAP registry at start.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under surgeon supervision.
• Prepare the surgical environment, maintain sterile field, and ensure aseptic conditions.
• Assist with instruments, clipping, transporting, and positioning for procedures.
• Support safety measures and participate in reconciliation activities.
