Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited or military surgical technology program.
• Certification through NBSTSA required within one year of hire date.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide safe and efficient care to the surgical patient under RN supervision and in collaboration with the surgeon.
• Function primarily in the scrub role; select, prepare, and maintain instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Apply sterile and aseptic technique; adapt to unpredictable perioperative situations.
• Support advanced procedures when needed and contribute to protocol/workflow development for new procedures.
• Be prepared to handle emergencies with quick thinking and solid procedural skills.

Ausbildung
