About the Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Inpatient Surgery Department. We are looking for a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills, who can multitask, stay organized, and deliver excellent care in an efficient and compassionate manner.

The Inpatient Surgery consists of a 17-suite OR including: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, Bariatric, Gynecology, Robotic, Vascular, Endovascular, Urology, Plastics, and General cases. Procedures are performed on a mainly adult population, with an average of 850 procedures monthly. Our specialty team-based approach ensures consistent, knowledgeable, and experienced staff to meet patient needs.

The Surgical Tech will be responsible for setting up sterile supplies and assisting surgeons.

0.9 FTE / 36 hours per week / 12-hour shifts

Qualifications for Surgical Technologist

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or completed a formal military or hospital-based training program.
• Surgical Technologist licensure in the State of Washington.
• Certification by the NBSTSA is preferred.
• CPR Certification required.
• One to two years of OR experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Qualifications for Certified Surgical Technologist

• Same as above, with at least one year of OR experience required.

Compensation
