UCHealth Pikes Peak Reg Hospital in Woodland Park, CO is seeking a PRN Surgical Tech to support the Operating Room. The role is onsite with day shift responsibilities, offering a pay range of $27.61 to $41.41 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include preparing the operating suite, maintaining equipment, assisting with patient positioning and instrument passing, and handling specimens. A valid Surgical Tech registration and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration and BLS.
• 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
• 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
