Shriners Children's in the United States seeks a Surgical Technologist (ST) to join the surgical health care team as a scrub person. You will assist the nurse and surgeon to protect patient safety and ensure the OR environment and equipment function properly during invasive procedures.
You will anticipate, select, and maintain equipment, prepare sterile fields, follow counts for sharps, sponges, and instruments, and assist with transportation and Sterile Processing as assigned.

The surgical technologist (ST) is an integral part of the surgical health care team and functions in the role of scrub person. The ST works under the supervision of the registered nurse and surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
