• 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• BLS through AHA or ARC with card in-hand before start date.

Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $41.00/hr

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Med Ctr of the Rockies, US:CO:Loveland

Department: MCR Operating Room

FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay depends on relevant experience.

Summary

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Accounts for instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receives and processes specimens for laboratory delivery.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support
• Surgical Tech
• Surgical Assistant
• High School diploma or GED or Military trained
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
• 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
• BLS through AHA or ARC with card in-hand before start date, valid through sixty days of hire
