Position Details

• Department: Cook St OR All Spec Activity
• FTE: Full Time, 1.0 (80 hours per pay period)
• Shift: Days
• Pay Range: $27.61 - $41.41/hour (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, and supplies.
• Ensure equipment and instruments are in good working order.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping.
• Pass instruments during surgery and keep track of supplies.
• Process specimens for laboratory delivery.
• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or Military training.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• At least 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited program.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through 60 days post-hire.
