Role Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during operative procedures by preparing and inventorying sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies, and passing items to surgeons and nurses.
• Prepare and move patients, sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and rooms.
• Work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of surgical tech experience required.
• Experience in a specialty field preferred.
• Previous OR experience highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Current registration as a Surgical Tech or within the scope of another verified Colorado license, certification, or registration.

Additional Details

• Schedule: 36 hours/week with variable shifts based on surgical volume.
• Call required: approximately 4-6 shifts per 6-week schedule, with weekend and weekday call responsibilities.
• Physical requirements: Medium work exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Pay Range: $26.37-$39.90/hour
