USPI Outpatient Center of Delray, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a motivated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center in Delray Beach, FL. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you scrub for surgical procedures and support the surgical team.

You will prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment, participate in quality improvement activities, and bring strong aseptic technique and teamwork to a wide range

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved surgical technician program or 2+ years of experience.
• Preferred ambulatory surgical center experience.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions; excellent teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and functions as a team member.

USPI Outpatient Center of Delray, is seeking a motivated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. USPI Outpatient Center of Delray Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
