Job summary

TalentBurst is recruiting a Surgical Technologist for Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a floating 12-hour shift pattern across days, evenings, and nights.

The candidate must scrub, have NBSTSA or equivalent experience, and AHA BLS; 2 years OR experience required; Da Vinci system experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and assist in OR.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR/Surgical Tech experience.
• NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of Surgical Tech experience for trauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in surgical procedures across Orthopedics, General Surgery, Plastics, Urology, Cardiac, Neuro, Vascular, Ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, Thoracic, Trauma.
• Operate or assist with Da Vinci robotic systems when required.
• Maintain sterility and assist the surgical team during 12-hour floating shifts.

Schedule: Floating Shift, 12*3 | 36 hrs/week

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Days/Evenings/Nights – rotating

Weekly Hours: 36 hrs/week; 48 hrs/week may be accommodated
