Job Description

Provides assistance to the surgical team during procedures and assists in the orientation of new operating room staff. Performs technical duties in all operating room specialties, maintains instrumentation, and supports intra-operative nursing practices. Participates in staff development, documentation, and adheres to safety and sterilization protocols. Accepts on-call duties and promotes a customer service-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to respond quickly in emergencies
• Preferred: Previous OR technician experience
