Talented Medical Solutions in California is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the OR team by preparing cases, maintaining sterility, and passing instruments.

The role emphasizes accurate counts, equipment maintenance, and efficient setup to support surgeons during procedures. Candidates with a high school diploma, BLS/CPR certification, and OR training preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree is preferred.
• Operating room experience and/or training is preferred.
• Surgery Technician Certification is preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor is required.

Mansioni

• Prepare surgical cases, instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Set up and maintain a sterile field using proper aseptic technique.
• Pass instruments, supplies, and medications during procedures.
• Complete instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with the RN.
• Maintain surgical equipment and specialty inventory.
• Clean equipment and maintain an organized operating room.
• Collect case data and perform required clerical duties.
• Transport patients according to unit needs and priorities.
