Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Surgical Technology Program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Surgical Scrub Technician experience.
• Recent Operating Room experience.
• BLS Certification - American Heart Association.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Establish and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Perform surgical scrub duties and provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
• Assist surgeons and nurses with intraoperative needs while anticipating procedural requirements.
• Handle, prepare, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.

We’re seeking an Associate Surgical Technician to join a collaborative surgical team in Santa Rosa. This role offers hands-on involvement throughout surgical procedures from OR preparation and sterile field maintenance to instrument handling and intraoperative support while working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other perioperative professionals.
