Job summary

Cincinnati Eye Institute in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in operating room operations under the supervision of Surgeons, Registered Nurses and Surgical Assistants. You will help organize the OR and support the team to deliver the highest standard of patient care.

The role requires CST certification preferred and BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to scrub all cases and prepare instruments. Hours include PRN with 8 hour shifts, M-F 6:30am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical operations under supervision and deliver patient care.
• Prepare operating room, instruments and supplies and pass instruments to staff.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment functions properly.
• Assist with patient transfer, specimen handling and room cleanup.
