Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and sterile technique training.
• Certification is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile technique and prepares the operating room.
• Gathers instruments and supplies for cases.
• Passes instruments to surgeons during procedures.
• Assists with positioning patients and moving them to the operating room.
• Cleans the operating room and re-sterilizes equipment after procedures.
